«Je», parle d'une jeune femme qui a perdu le goût de la vie et pense à mettre fin à ses jours. C'est alors qu'une entité intervient pour la confronter à la réalité.
C'est un court-métrage de 20 minutes qui appelle à l'éveil de notre Être et à être. À cheminer vers l'amour de soi et à remanier la question éternelle du « Qui suis-je ? ».
Ce film en noir et blanc propose une mise en scène minimaliste qui illustre, artistiquement et philosophiquement, le dialogue interne que nous nous racontons face au chaos psychologique que l'on rencontre à certaines phases de nos vies jusqu'à notre renaissance.
«Je», est porteur de messages forts, remplis de bon sens pour un Soi en reconstruction, qui parlera à plusieurs d'entre nous.
ABOUT
"Je", (meaning "I" in English), is about a young woman who has lost her will to live and is thinking about ending her life. It is then that an entity intervenes to confront her with reality.
It is a 20-minute short film that calls for the awakening of our Being and to be. To walk towards self-love and to reshape the eternal question of "Who am I? ".
This film is presented in a minimalist black and white style which illustrates, artistically and philosophically, the internal dialogue that we have with ourselves in the face of the psychological chaos that we encounter at certain phases of our lives until our rebirth.
"Je", carries strong messages for the rebuilding of one's Self, which speaks to many of us.

CASSANDRE ANAYA
Française et artiste pluridisciplinaire, c'est à Antibes que Cassandre étudie le design graphique, puis à Paris qu'elle rencontre les planches du théâtre, la mise en scène et l'écriture de scénario. Ajoutons à cela, le tablier de l'artiste peintre adepte du Symbolisme.
Depuis 2019, elle s'installe à Montréal pour se lancer de nouveaux défis artistiques. Début 2023, elle présente son scénario original «Je» à Zane qui décide vivement de se lancer dans l'aventure. C'est ensemble qu'ils co-produisent et travaillent à la réalisation de ce court métrage.
L'art sous toutes ses formes fait sortir ce qu'il y a de plus absolu en nous. Que l'on soit artiste ou spectateur, l'art nous humanise et nous connecte entre nous tous. Ce moment où l'artiste donne et le spectateur reçoit est celui que je préfère. C'est un moment de partage unique à chacun qui va au-delà des mots."
French and a multidisciplinary artist, it is in Antibes that Cassandre studied graphic design, and in Paris was introduced to theater, directing and screenwriting. In addition, she wears the painter's apron and is adept in the style of Symbolism.
Since 2019, she moved to Montreal to take on new artistic challenges. At the beginning of 2023, she presented her original script «Je» to Zane who decided to pursue the adventure. Together they co-produced and worked on making this short film.

ZANE
Zane est un auteur-compositeur-interprète Canadien qui a sorti deux albums musicaux et plusieurs singles. Il est également photographe professionnel, cinéaste, monteur vidéo, producteur audio et mixeur de son. Passionné par la musique, le cinéma et la photographie depuis son plus jeune âge, Zane a toujours cherché à combiner les images et les sons pour créer de nouvelles ambiances et de nouvelles expériences.
Ses courts métrages les plus récents ont remporté de nombreux prix au niveau international. Le dernier en date, "Salvation", ayant remporté 24 prix et 14 nominations, dont ceux du meilleur film, du meilleur réalisateur, du meilleur court métrage et de la meilleure cinématographie, et autres catégories.
Le seul langage que je comprends vraiment est la créativité."
Zane is a Canadian singer/songwriter and has released two musical albums and multiple singles. He is also a professional photographer, filmmaker, video editor, and audio producer and sound mixer. With a passion for music, film and photography from an early age, Zane has been pursuing his love of combining visuals and sounds to create new moods and new experiences.
His most recent short films have won multiple awards internationally with his latest, "Salvation", winning 24 awards and 14 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Short Film, and Best Cinematography among other categories.
